Fórum Selecção is looking for a Finance Consultant (M/F) for a Corporate Bank (Porto)

Key Responsibilities:
– As an Accountant in the team, your main responsibilities will be
• Check, record and process capital and operating expenditures;
• Book and control of accruals and prepayments;
• Manage the expense claim process;
• Perform accounting and bank account reconciliations;
• Maintain fixed assets register;
• Month end financial reports;

Analysis & Reporting Task:
– Audit trials production for some notices.

Specific mission:
– Create from scratch a control on the production of the SECM (Strategic Equity Capital Markets)
scope performed by LoD 1.1 .
– Enlargement of the scope of a pre-created control on Micro Hedging;

Requirements:
– Degree in Accounting preferred; Finance, Economics or Management may also be considered with relevant experience.
– 1–3 years of experience in AP / General Accounting.
– Experience with Accounting Software.
– Advanced knowledge of IFRS / GAAP.
– Notions of Local Tax Regulations (VAT).
– Fluent English.
– Ability to meet deadlines.
– Ability to work under pressure.
– Strong attention to detail and prioritisation skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Strong analytical and communication skills.

Temporary project (6 months, could be renewed)

– Schedule between 9.00 am and 6.00 pm (Hybrid)
– Location: Porto
