Junior Cash SSI Officer (M/F)

Fórum Selecção is looking for a Junior Cash SSI Officer (M/F) for a Corporate Bank (Porto)

Main activities:
– Analysis and check of cash SSI consistency (Standard settlement Instructions);
– Control of the Customer data in internal and external systems;
– Clients and counterparties callbacks for verification of payment details;
– Setup and modification of the SSI in all 6 Client’s Management Systems;
– Monitoring of suspicious payments in the SSI Filter;
– Daily operational risk management;
– Should have notions of the Trade life cycle;
– Interact with both internal and external parties to resolve related queries;
– Basis awareness on the types of SWIFT instruction across multiple products (MT103, MT202).

Profile and skills we look for:
– Degree in Finance, Economics, Management or related field;
– 1-3 years of experience in a Financial or banking Operations role:
– Knowledge of Baking Operations and/or Global Market Products;
– Good communication and interpersonal skills;
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
– Attention to detail and good organizational skills;
– Basic knowledge on SWIFT Network (MT103, MT202 and/or MT199);
– Good knowledge of English and French, both written and verbal;
– Basic to intermediate Excel skills;
– Report and escalate operational on major incidents including any breach and error occurrences to the management. Understand KPI & follow audit guidelines strictly (Internal and External);
– Ensure that the controls are performed thoroughly on any issues promptly addressed and documented.

Temporary project (6 months, could be renewed)

– Schedule between 9.00 am and 6.00 pm (Hybrid)
– Location: Porto
