Fórum Selecção is looking for a Operation Officer Replacement (M/F) for a corporate bank.

Key Responsibilities:
– Process payment instructions received from different sources and repositories, ensuring data is complete and accurate.
– Correct and enrich payment data when required.
– Manage the dematerialization of paper-based payment orders, including analysis and preparation of instructions for entry into the transfer management system.
– Perform four-eyes validation and control of processed payments prior to execution.
– Identify and escalate suspicious transactions in line with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF) requirements.
– Analyse returned funds, identifying associated risks and relevant accounting entries, and communicate with clients when necessary.
– Monitor and supervise the invoicing of processing costs with correspondent/partner banks.
– Contribute to process optimisation, operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
– Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including Front Office, Back Office, Customer Support, Treasury, Legal, payment partners and clients.

Profile:
– Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Banking, Finance, Economics, Business or a related field.
– Previous experience in banking operations, payment processing, cash management, treasury or financial services is highly valued.
– Knowledge or experience with SWIFT and payment processes is a strong advantage.
– Experience in processing, supervision, monitoring or operational control is appreciated.
– Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a controlled environment.
– Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to manage priorities and work effectively within a team.
– Good knowledge of English.
– Good knowledge of French (Preferred).

Possibility of travelling abroad from time to time.

Temporary project: 12 months.

– Schedule between 9.00 am and 6.00 pm (Hybrid)
